Acres of beautiful, landscaped grounds and a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean will greet you when you arrive at the Oregon House. With Cape Perpetua to the north, Siuslaw National Forest to the east, and Heceta Head Lighthouse to the south, the Oregon House is located on some of the most beautiful and dramatic scenery along the Oregon coast. Built on the rugged coastline along the Pacific Ocean, the view from the Oregon House is picturesque. A private beach access to a secluded cove below offers you the option of agate hunting or relaxing while watching the waves. It's easy to wander, relax and enjoy the sea at the Oregon House.

The wonderful one bedroom cottage, named Sunset, is located on the lower level of the first building (building #1) that you see when entering the Oregon House estate. This spacious cottage has a king bed in the bedroom with a tiled walk in shower in the ensuite bathroom. The gas fireplace will keep you cozy on stormy days where you can watch the ocean from the comfort of the living room. On sunny days, sit out on the covered porch and watch for whales or a spectacular sunset. The kitchenette offers a microwave, mini fridge, toaster oven and coffee maker (amongst other kitchen gadgets) so that you can dine in or bring home some wonderful fare from a local restaurant. Need more room? Rent the upstairs studio, Sunrise #1A, to sleep two more.

The Oregon House can accommodate up to 22 people and is perfect for either a romantic getaway, a business retreat or a family reunion! The location makes the Oregon House the perfect home base for exploring the central Oregon coast.

We loved our stay at sweet homes. Bed is very comfortable . Everything is as described. Internet worked well to stream a video one night. iloved the beach! It's about 8 miles from Yachats if you wish to go to dinner. I recommend the Drift Inn Cafe with live music daily at 630pm and good food.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and it was an unforgettable experience. Situated right in front of the ocean, the views are simply breathtaking. Each morning, we woke up to the serene sound of waves crashing against the shore, and each evening, we enjoyed the stunning sunsets. The place was very clean and I particularly loved the spaciousness of the room and the large windows that allowed for plenty of natural light and uninterrupted ocean views. I highly recommend staying here.

If you're looking for a quiet place away from the usual, this place was hard to beat. Clean accommodations, sound of the ocean, and accessible beach were the highlights for us. Lack of cell phone coverage is not a negative for the place, but just something to be aware of. Wifi and internet was more than enough to fill in the gaps with lack of cell phone coverage. Great host communication was a plus - we knew what we were getting into and never had a surprise while we were there. Will be back.

Peaceful, perfect getaway with fantastic ocean view and beach access. Beautiful, light filled space was relaxing and welcoming. Minimal kitchen had just enough to cook for myself and the bed was comfortable. Despite the location right on Hwy 101, I didn’t hear much traffic noise over the lovely soothing sound of the ocean waves. From the location (direct access or short drive) I explored over 10 miles of beach walking between Yachats and Heceta Head Lighthouse.

This portion the Oregon coast is incredibly special - and property truly capitalizes upon everything that's wonderful about it. The views are spectacular, the little hike down to the beach is fun and there's space to enjoy the ocean even when the tide is in. if you don't wish to walk down, the immaculately manicured sloping lawn, complete with park benches, is a perfect spot to enjoy the serenity and watch the waves. Or...watch from your own private porch/deck with provided binoculars - such a thoughtful inclusion! We LOVE this property as a go-to destination!

We were very happy with this property...away from city noise. Even with others staying at the other nearby homes we found it to be very quiet and relaxing. Beach area was a nice surprise, not just plain flat sand like other locations we've been.

Place was cozy, clean, and quiet which was great for a beach trip. No pets and kids around so it was peaceful. Wasn’t far from Florence so we were able to check out the dunes and rent atvs. Close to places go fishing and crabbing but didn’t pack all that gear this time.
