Located on the edge of the Siuslaw National Forest, this private cabin on 3 acres invites you to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of modern day-to-day life. The cabin reflects a contemporary yet rustic aesthetic, romantic and charming! Conveniently located just 8 miles south of the cute village of Yachats, you will find many activities to keep you busy!
The living and dining rooms have wonderful open views with a vaulted ceiling, loft and a full expanse of windows that overlook the ocean and the woods. Enhance your relaxation by sitting next to the electric fireplace; reading a good book or watching your favorite show on the smart TV. Looking for some fun after dinner? The cabin is loaded with games and puzzles to play with the family. As day fades into night, take advantage of the outdoor firepit in the yard and lay in the hammock to watch the stars.
The kitchen boasts all stainless appliances and is perfect for putting together a wonderful meal for the family. Take it to the next level and grill up the catch of the day on the gas grill while listening to the waves on the shore and the wind in the trees. After dinner desert can be roasted marshmallows and s'mores around the outdoor firepit.
This cozy and updated cabin sleeps up to 4 guests. There is one bedroom on the main floor that features an exterior door to the beautiful yard and a queen bed. The second bedroom is upstairs in the loft. It also features a queen bed, a nook perfect for reading and skylights that show off the stunning views of the ocean and sky.
Ready to explore? The cabin has a path to the beach for those that are nimble! Part way down is what is called ‘sunset beach' which is a sunny spot to sit and enjoy the sweeping views of the ocean. Keep going down the path, at your own risk, and you will find yourself on a very quiet and secluded beach. One of the best parts of staying at this property is the chance to explore one of Oregon coast's diverse and scenic regions. Located between Yachats and Florence, this area includes Cape Perpetua Scenic Area, Heceta Head State Park and Lighthouse, the Sea Lion Caves, and many roadside scenic viewpoints that are straight out of a travel website or magazine. This is a spectacular part of the Oregon coast!

Our dream coastal get away - the property was heavenly and even more breathtaking in person. We looked at the views throughout the house constantly and there were always more things to see. Such a beautiful cabin with a tender family history. Looking out the front windows of the cabin, I thought I was looking at picture postcards of an Oregon forest and ocean coast. What a location. The cabin was so clean and very charming. There was so much to do in the Yachats and Florence area. Great restaurants. We ate clam chowder everyday. So glad we stayed at Shelley’s Cabin

We appreciated how private this property felt, the coziness combined with the gorgeous view, and the proximity to Yachats for stuff we needed. Our kids had sibling time in the loft and we all enjoyed watching movies together at night by the fire after tide pooling at the beach, visiting the sea lions, and renting ATV's on the sand dunes.

We celebrated our 26th anniversary at the Shelley Cabin and absolutely loved it! We were looking for something secluded and private with amazing ocean access and this was exactly that! Unbelievable private beach, cute cabin with nice amenities, and amazing property overlooking the ocean! If you want privacy on the Oregon Coast this is it!

Can’t beat the location of this comfortable, well-stocked cottage. We could’ve sat looking outside those huge windows all day, but there were lots of things to see and do — Sea Lion caves, Cape Perpetua hikes, Helveca lighthouse and amazing trails, Hobbit trail, and amazing cider and good at Wildcraft (Yachats). Would love to come back!

Adorable, charming cabin in an unbeatable location. Modern and plentiful amenities. A private beach on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Pacific coast -- what's not to love? If you are looking for comfort, coziness and privacy in a setting that feels genuinely wild and secluded, look no further. There are so many wonderful places to go in the world but we will definitely consider coming again. A suitably memorable venue for a memorable anniversary!
