Whale Crossing is the perfect condo with amazing panoramic views of the ocean that can be enjoyed with friends, family or a romantic getaway! Enjoy spotting whales passing by or the winter storms that are dramatic with huge waves crashing up against the rocky shore. Cozy up to a warm fire in the fireplace and enjoy the view, your favorite book and a hot toddy. Or, in the summer, sit out on the deck and watch for whales, seals and sea birds. Whale Crossing has two spacious bedrooms, one primary with a King bed, gas fireplace, a large ensuite bath and ocean views, and another with a Queen bed and an attached bath. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with quartz countertops, a large island and is open to the living room where friends and family can gather for wonderful feasts while enjoying the ocean views! The condominium building has an elevator for those that don't want to take the stairs! Within the resort you'll find a clubhouse with a community indoor heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, pool table and more! Look for posted hours for access.
You can stay busy for days exploring up and down the coast from this convenient location! Just 2 miles north is beach access at Fogarty Creek or make a stop at Boiler Bay for hiking, picnicking, and at low tide, discover the boiler from the shipwreck J. Marhoffer! Just a few minutes south is Depoe Bay with it's fun little shops and restaurants. Stand at the seawall during a high tide or a big storm and be sprayed by the water that shoots up through the spouting horn. Here it is easy to arrange for a whale watching tour or a deep sea fishing excursion. Visitors from everywhere come to whale watch either from the Whale Watch Center, a charter boat trip, or from the many shore observation spots. Another 20 minutes south is Newport where many wonderful restaurants, art galleries, shops and fun things to do can be found. Explore Nye Beach or visit the historic bay front where you can eat and smell the freshly caught seafood!

Out of all Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at along the Oregon coast, this one was by far our favorite. Gorgeous views, tons of space in the unit, very clean and nice. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely fireplace and furniture.

The condominium was just like described and more! One entire wall of the condominium along the living room and the king size ensuite bedroom faced the ocean. Depot Bay has beautiful rocky shore where the waves crash against the rocks and it was about 25 ft away. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Everything was clean and neat and tastefully decorated. We stayed for a week, and I will definitely be back to stay there again. It's convenient to both Lincoln City and Newport and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the view.
